I have been a practicing counsellor for 20 years gaining experience with Alcohol Focus Scotland, Lorn Counselling Service and latterly with North Argyll Carers Centre. I also have my own private practice.

I offer clients a confidential secure space in which to confront, change, or channel feelings of confusion, grief, rage or depression. I encourage clients to find their own answers within themselves.

I believe in the words of the Dalai Lama that “we can never find peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves. Counselling is a way of beginning to understand ourselves and our feelings. If you are looking for peace, fulfilment, a different way of looking at life or an acceptance of the way things are counselling may well be able to assist you in your search.

I also teach Kundalini Yoga and I am at present studying level two with the Amrit Nam Sarovar International Kundalini Yoga School in France.

Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, consists of simple yogic techniques that can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter his or her age or physical ability. It is a complete science that includes breath (pranayam), yoga postures (asanas), sound, chanting (mantra) and meditation. It is designed to provide you with the experience of your highest consciousness through the raising of your Kundalini.

Group classes and one to one tuition available.
